I recently finished rebuilding a 84" panhead with a CV carburetor and stock ignition system of points and condenser. At the time of start up I had a free flowing exhaust system on it. Since then putting on 600 trouble free miles. Over the winter I installed a replica stock exhaust system that is considerably quieter than the previous exhaust set up. As it stands now, it pops when cold, stalls out at a stop and it stubborn to restart when stalled. My question is, do I need to rejet the carb because of the increased back pressure?

The urban dictionary defines Gurty as “something that looks so wrong it's right.”
I need a bike to go back for TT23.
This is my how-to guide.
Let me know if you can prove this is your bike.
I have a gift for you.
This is Gurty.
Or, should I say, this is the early stages of Gurty being re-born.

I have a 2015 Harley Roadster, been looking for an oil that will at least be durable and hold up, looking to go with this:
https://www.searchforparts.com/moto...-2015-xl-883r-sportster-roadster-cs-883-54-ci
if you have another suggestion for long distance protection or intervals let me know, I ride for long distances and would rather not have someone I do now know service my bike if I am far from home, so I need something that can stretch out the interval and not break down to get back home for service, thank you!!

Hi everyone, I wanted to post about the past present and future of this forum.
This forum started as a hangout created back in 1997 by Dave who owned a shop in Arizona until he retired. I took the reins around 2005. In 2007 I created the new domain name Bike-Talk.com and the forum went through many upgrades over the years including the last migration to a robust server host. I've covered all of the annual and monthly costs to this day to keep this forum free from member dues or blasting everyone with too much advertising.
Despite the forum becoming quiet lately due to no promotion, I believe this platform could still have a future with the right amount of effort. Unfortunately I don't have that kind of bandwidth or energy at this time. So I would like to offer up the forum to someone...
